Progress

I was out messing around with my new Canon EOS Rebel T5i.  It's my first DSLR camera, and I'm loving the features thus far!
While strolling around, looking for things to shoot, I decided to snap a pic of this, the travesty that is the main street of our town.  The local big bugs have decided that our city needs a light rail line instead of its central bus service.  This would be a lovely idea, if the light rail line ran parallel to the main road like an above-ground subway; but instead, it's planned to go along the road in many places like a street car.  The ensuing construction (slated to take at least a couple of years) has torn up many of our major thoroughfares to the point that I have trouble traversing them on my mountain bike, and has jeopardized small businesses for a stretch of several kilometers or more.  
I only hope the eventual future payoff makes up for the current disruption...
